เป็นสถานีย่อยที่เชื่อมต่อกับหน่วยอินเทอร์เฟซสถานีย่อย 4 สาย N-8400RS การกดปุ่มโทรจะเริ่มการโทรไปยังสถานีหลักที่ตั้งโปรแกรมไว้ล่วงหน้า ทำให้สามารถสนทนาได้ นอกจากนี้ยังสามารถใช้งานร่วมกับหูฟังเสริม RS-481 ได้อีกด้วย RS-480 มีไฟแสดงสถานะ
